Between 1905 and 1910, Viktor Kova\u010di\u0107 began to assert himself more and more as a leading Croatian architect. He was a participant in several large architectural tenders, and the number of project orders has increased during time, which has finally led to his financial recovery. At that time, Kova\u010di\u0107 began to establish new standards of housing culture, and living in his apartments and houses became a matter of social prestige.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to Kova\u010di\u0107, at that time the status of the architect in Croatian society was raised to a new level, where the work of the architect was no longer viewed exclusively from the point of view of mere engineering, but as an artistic activity. In this context, the architect becomes just as famous as, for example, a famous writer, actor or singer of popular hits. Kova\u010di\u0107’s greatest popularity among the Zagreb elite was brought by his decorating of residential spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
